Job summary

FIVE Hotels and Resorts in Dubai seeks a senior finance professional to own the month-end close, balance sheets, and commercial reporting. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives across the luxury hospitality group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

With a finance degree and ACCA/CIMA, you will collaborate with department heads, travel to New York as needed, and uphold FIVE's world-class standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or related field preferred (ACCA, CIMA or similar).
• Minimum of 5 years Finance experience in a Luxury Hotel environment within International Luxury Hospitality.
• Proven track record in achieving financial targets, managing budgets and implementing cost controls without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Month-End Closing Reports and all essential management reports with precision and timeliness.
• Guarantee balance sheets reflect assets and liabilities with accuracy, and verify reconciliations.
• Prepare detailed capital reviews and contribute to forecasting and budgeting proposals with senior finance leadership.
• Develop and implement best practices for financial accounting and control procedures; review processes for efficiency.
• Lead monthly Finance Update Meetings with the Financial Controller and support department heads with financial insights.
