The Role
The Finance and Administration Manager – MEAI is based in Dubai and holds overall responsibility for the finance function of the Dubai entity. The role also leads consolidation and financial reporting across the Middle East, Africa, and India region, covering five to six legal entities. The business operates a project-based, B2B model.
The position reports directly to the Senior Finance Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of MEA, and has line management responsibility for one Accountant based in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the finance function for the Dubai entity.
- Consolidate financial reporting for MEA and India across five to six entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage one Accountant in Dubai, including task allocation, coaching, and performance oversight.
- Prepare and analyse P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements; provide insights to support business decisions.
- Oversee project accounting, including revenue recognition, cost allocation, and project profitability monitoring.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes across the region.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements for assigned entities.
- Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders on reporting, controls, and policy implementation.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and internal controls.
- Provide financial support for bids, contract reviews, and commercial negotiations with B2B customers.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing a finance function for a regional entity or multiple entities, preferably in a project-based or B2B environment.
- Strong project accounting experience with the ability to analyse project-level profitability.
- Experience consolidating multi-entity financials across different countries and currencies.
- Prior exposure to markets in the Middle East, Africa, and India is highly desirable.
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills; familiarity with ERP or finance systems.
- Ability to translate financial data into commercial recommendations.
- Experience supervising and developing junior accountants.
- Knowledge of local statutory and tax reporting requirements; UAE and regional familiarity preferred.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA, or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with remote stakeholders across time zones.
