Overview

Step into a senior individual contributor role with real ownership and autonomy. A hands‑on environment, managing finance operations across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of financial operations across two legal entities within the UAE.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with senior stakeholders to align financial plans with business objectives.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insightful variance analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure strong internal controls are in place and continuously improved across both entities.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital and funding requirements to support business continuity.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with local requirements.
• Manage VAT and other statutory reporting obligations within the UAE.
• Support commercial decision making by delivering clear and actionable financial insights.
• Review and optimise financial processes, systems and reporting frameworks to drive efficiency.
• Act as a key point of contact for finance related matters across the business, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, process improvements and ongoing operational enhancements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all documentation is audit ready.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified accountant such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Proven experience within the UAE, with a strong understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements.
• 5+ years of experience within a similar finance / accounting role.
• Currently based in the UAE.
• Experience operating at Finance Manager level or similar within a professional services, consultancy, or project based environment (Project Management, Engineering, Design, or Architectural Consultancy).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end‑to‑end finance operations independently.
• Comfortable working in a role with broad responsibilities and a high level of ownership.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
