Qualifications

• UAE market experience is essential.
• Experience in cross-border reporting and coordinating with GCC teams.
• Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA/CMA/ACCA an advantage.

Business Unit / Department Summary: Finance and Accounting

General Position Summary:

The objective of this role is to lead the finance function for the UAE operations while ensuring

accurate timely and insightful financial reporting across the GCC. The Finance Manager will be

providing strategic oversight on budgeting forecasting cost control and performance

monitoring. This role is critical to ensuring visibility into the companys profitability enabling

informed decision-making by senior leadership.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Strategy & Vision

Support strategic financial planning and decision-making with robust insights.

Ensure forecasting accuracy and alignment with business goals.

Team Management

Lead and mentor a UAE-based finance team of 7.

Build effective working relationships with GCC finance teams.

Operations Management Finance & ERP

Ensure timely monthly closures and reporting cycles.

Oversee budgeting forecasting accounting and commercial finance functions.

Coordinate cross-country financial data submission and integrity.

Implement and monitor cost control initiatives across markets.

Reporting & Financial Analysis

Deliver clear financial reporting by product and region (e.g. e-commerce vs domestic...).

Present insights and business health updates to the GM and management.

Ensure system-driven data visibility using ERP and internal tools.

Influence & Representation

Represent finance in management meetings and cross-functional forums.

Liaise with regional team to ensure alignment and financial compliance.

Supervisory Responsibility

7 direct reports (Finance UAE)

Matrix collaboration with GCC focal points

Accountability

Reports Directly To: General Manager

Works Directly With: Country Managers ERP/IT Management

Knowledge and Experience

8 years in finance leadership roles preferably in logistics or courier services

ERP system proficiency (any major ERP accepted)

Strong analytical and presentation skills

Arabic language skills preferred

Experience in the logistics/courier services industry is mandatory.

UAE market experience is essential.

Strong management analytical and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage cross-border reporting deadlines.

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field. Professional certification (CPA CMA ACCA) is an advantage.

Living Conditions / Environmental Conditions

Based in Dubai UAE. Travel across GCC may be required occasionally.
