Job summary

Terrafirma Solutions in Dubai seeks an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professional responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. You will lead budgeting cycles, prepare timely financial reports, and ensure strong internal controls to safeguard assets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (CPA/CMA preferred) and at least 5 years in finance, with 2 years in a managerial capacity. Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency are essential.

Job description

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.

Budgeting

• Lead the annual budgeting process and support department heads in budget preparation. Monitor and report on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variances.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reports to management and stakeholders.

Compliance and Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and manage cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. Optimize the management of bank and deposit relationships.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, train, and mentor finance team members. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.

Strategic Support

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives. Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are required.

Communication Skills
