Job summary

Progressive, an established oil and gas trading house in DIFC, seeks a Finance Manager to lead financial operations in Dubai. The role requires deep experience in oil and gas trading, MTM, hedge accounting, and multi‑jurisdictional reporting.

You will manage IFRS/GAAP compliance, tax filings, and partner with trading desks. SAP S/4HANA FI/CO expertise is essential; CTRM/ETRM systems experience is preferred. The candidate must be based in the UAE.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance experience with significant oil & gas trading exposure.
• Strong knowledge of physical and paper oil trading, hedging, MTM and commodity risk management.
• Experience with IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, tax compliance and multi‑jurisdictional trading entities.

Finance Manager - Oil & Gas Trading

We have an interesting job opportunity with our client who is an established oil and gas trading house in DIFC and they are on a look out for an experienced Finance Manager.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of finance experience, with significant experience in oil and gas, energy commodity trading - IS A MUST.
• Strong knowledge of physical and paper oil trading, trade finance (LCs), hedging, MTM, and commodity risk management.
• Experience with IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, tax compliance, and multi-jurisdictional trading entities.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO); CTRM/ETRM systems experience preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications are an advantage.
