Job summary

Progressive GE in the UAE, based in the DIFC, seeks an experienced Finance Manager for oil and gas trading. The role requires 10+ years in finance with deep exposure to physical and financial oil markets, trade finance, hedging, MTM, and risk management.

Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, multi-jurisdictional entities, and SAP S/4HANA FI/CO is essential. The ideal candidate will be based in the UAE, with a strong track record in energy trading and compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance experience, with significant experience in oil and gas, energy commodity trading.
• Strong knowledge of physical and paper oil trading, trade finance (LCs), hedging, MTM, and commodity risk management.
• Experience with IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, tax compliance, and multi-jurisdictional trading entities.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO); CTRM/ETRM systems experience preferred.
