Job summary

HQMena in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented Finance Executive to support daily financial operations including AP/AR, reconciliations and compliance. The role covers VAT and Corporate Tax tasks while maintaining accurate financial records and timely reporting.

You will assist with audits, budgets, forecasts and cross-department invoicing, ensuring adherence to local regulations and company policies within a fast-paced events business.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (BCom) required.
• CA and CMA qualifications preferred.
• 25 years of experience in finance, preferably in events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes accurately and on time.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements and credit card transactions.
• Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and accruals.
• Maintain financial records and proper documentation of transactions.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments for timely submission of invoices and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local accounting regulations.
• Assist in preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Provide financial data analysis and insights to support decisions.
• Support basic VAT and Corporate Tax compliance activities when required.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to support daily financial operations reporting reconciliations and compliance. The ideal candidate will manage accounts payable/receivable functions maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely financial reporting while assisting with VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of daily weekly and monthly financial reports.
