Overview

1. Project Brief: A Financial Controller for Capital Projects oversees the financial aspects of projects involving significant capital investments.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Analysis
   1. Develop and manage budgets for capital projects.
   2. Conduct financial analyses to assess project feasibility and return on investment.
2. Cost Management
   1. Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
   2. Implement cost control measures to optimize project financial performance.
   3. Implement oversight on all contingency on project and how this is applied.
3. Reporting
   1. Prepare and present regular financial reports to management and stakeholders.
   2. Handle all board preparation for CAPEX reporting.
   3. Oversee all project management reporting in plan view and status updates.
   4. Provide insights into project financial status and variances.
4. Compliance
   1. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
   2. Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to address financial compliance requirements.
5. Forecasting
   1. Forecast financial outcomes for ongoing and future capital projects.
   2. Identify potential financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
