About the Role:
The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and calibration of weighing scales and related equipment, with a mix of workshop work and customer-site visits across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Core Tasks:
- Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate industrial and retail weighing scales.
- Support installation, commissioning, and servicing of weighbridges and other weighing systems.
- Component Repair: Inspect and replace load cells, weighing indicators, wiring, printers, and related components.
- Technical Configuration: Configure weighing indicators, basic software settings, and communication parameters, while carrying out routine preventive maintenance.
- Reporting & Communication: Complete accurate service reports and calibration records while communicating technical findings to customers and teams.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field..
- Experience: 0-3 years in equipment service, maintenance, calibration, or instrumentation.
- Technical Skills: Strong hands-on troubleshooting abilities, basic understanding of electrical wiring/schematics, and basic computer skills.
- Communication: Good verbal and written English
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UAE
- UAE Driving License is a strong advantage.
Experience with weighing scales, load cells, weighing indicators, weighbridges, or calibration equipment is an advantage.
