PETRA MECHATRONICS MIDDLE EAST TRADING LLC in Dubai seeks a Mechatronics Engineer / Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot weighing systems and automation equipment.

You will provide on-site support, generate service reports, and assist in sales/operations coordination. Strong English is required; Arabic is a plus. Driving license in UAE is advantageous.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of sensors, load cells, and calibration of instruments is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of PLC systems and control loops.
• Troubleshooting skills (electrical and mechanical).
• Good communication and computer skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Organized, adaptable, and able to work in industrial environments.
• UAE driving license or willingness to obtain as soon as possible is an advantage.

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer / Instrumentation Technician to handle installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial weighing systems, laboratory instruments, automation equipment and material handling equipment while assisting in technical coordination and operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, and commission industrial and medical weighing systems, sensors, instruments and lifting equipment

2. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and component-level maintenance

3. Carry out precise calibration, adjustments, and repairs on weighing equipment

4. Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients

5. Utilize modern tools including AI-based tools to improve efficiency and performance while working independently with minimal supervision

6. Prepare clear service reports and maintain proper documentation

7. Support or handle sales & operations coordination

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field.

2. Knowledge of sensors, load cells, and calibration of instruments (e.g., weighing scales, pressure gauges, controllers) is an advantage

3. Basic understanding of PLC systems and control loops

4. Troubleshooting skills (electrical and mechanical)
