Job summary

Petra Mechatronics seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Service Technician to install, calibrate and maintain weighing equipment across the UAE, combining workshop duties with on-site visits.

You will test, troubleshoot, and repair load cells, weigh indicators, weighbridges, and related gear, requiring hands-on skills and willingness to travel within the UAE. Medical insurance and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a technical field as listed.
• 0–3 years in equipment service, maintenance or calibration.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting abilities and basic wiring/schematics knowledge.
• Good verbal and written English.
• Willingness to travel across the UAE and hold UAE driving license (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate industrial and retail weighing scales.
• Support installation, commissioning, and servicing of weighbridges and weighing systems.
• Inspect and replace load cells, indicators, wiring, printers, and related components.
• Configure weighing indicators and basic software settings while performing preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and calibration records and communicate findings to customers and teams.
