Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Services Nova LT to support on-site installation, maintenance and commissioning with customers in Abu Dhabi. You will lead technical activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, compliant installations while advancing your knowledge through an Initial Training Program.

Travel up to 70% is required, including offshore facilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance and quality.
• Oversee, troubleshoot, overhaul and commission rotating equipment at customer sites.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, plans, and weekly reports for customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure internal training, compliance and quality documentation is up to date per company standards.
• Manage company digital tools to retrieve technical documents and manage packing lists, BOMs and drawings.

As a Field Service Engineer – Services Nova LT, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers.

Leading the installation and maintenance activities, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations. You will be the onsite expert, continually developing your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions.

As a Field Service Engineer – Services Nova LT, you will start with an Initial Training Program and progress so you will be responsible for:

• Providing technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
• Overseeing, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of our rotating equipment’s and products at customer sites.
• Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams.
• Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.
• Properly manage company digital tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.
