Job summary

Astra Source is seeking an experienced CCU Engineer to install, commission and maintain Close Control Air Conditioning and Precision Cooling systems in critical environments across the UAE.

The role requires hands-on experience with CCU systems, BMS interfaces, and fault diagnosis, with 3–7 years in CCU/Precision Cooling and related qualifications. You will work with client teams to ensure reliable critical cooling and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/Bachelors in Mechanical, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning.
• 3 to 7 years of CCU/Precision Cooling experience.
• Experience in data centers, telecom facilities, critical facilities or hospitals.
• Strong hands-on technical and troubleshooting ability.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Valid India Driving Licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain CCU systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of CCU equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and control faults.
• Troubleshoot CCU control panels, sensors and controllers.
• Work with BMS and monitoring systems connected to CCU equipment.

• Attend emergency breakdowns and provide timely technical solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, facility management teams and site representatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced CCU Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Close Control Air Conditioning and Precision Cooling systems The role will be responsible for the installation commissioning operation preventive maintenance corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of CCU systems particularly in critical and controlled environments

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install commission and maintain Close Control Air Conditioning CCU systems
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of CCU equipment
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical electrical refrigeration and control‑related faults
• Troubleshoot compressors condensers evaporators expansion valves fans and associated components
• Monitor and maintain required temperature humidity airflow and pressure conditions
• Carry out refrigerant circuit checks leak detection recovery and charging where required
• Troubleshoot CCU control panels sensors controllers actuators and associated control systems
• Work with BMS and monitoring systems connected to CCU equipment
• Support testing commissioning and performance verification of CCU systems
• Attend emergency breakdowns and provide timely technical solutions
• Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate service reports maintenance records and technical documentation
• Coordinate with clients facility management teams and site representatives
• Ensure all work is carried out according to UAE safety standards and company procedures

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong hands‑on experience with Close Control Air Conditioning CCU systems
• Good knowledge of Precision Cooling systems
• Strong understanding of refrigeration principles and cooling cycles
• Experience with compressors condensers evaporators expansion valves and fans
• Knowledge of CCU electrical control panels and control circuits
• Experience with sensors controllers actuators and temperature humidity control
• Understanding of BMS interface and monitoring systems
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and CCU control schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills
• Knowledge of DX and chilled‑water based CCU systems is an advantage
