Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineering teams with field execution activities and ensure assigned work follows project specifications, construction requirements, and EPCI industry standards.
- Visit construction areas regularly to review progress, observe site conditions, and identify deviations from approved drawings, specifications, or planned methodology.
- Report potential technical concerns early and support corrective actions in coordination with senior engineers, project managers, and contractors.
- Work with engineering, construction, quality, commissioning, and project management teams to maintain effective communication throughout project phases.
- Prepare clear site progress updates, field observation notes, technical evaluation reports, and quality control assessment records.
- Support project execution planning by contributing to engineering deliverable tracking, construction schedules, commissioning readiness, and field activity coordination.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, site instructions, and construction documents to support accurate field implementation.
- Help resolve routine technical questions from internal teams, contractors, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
- Identify practical improvements that may reduce cost, improve efficiency, limit rework, or strengthen project execution methodology.
- Support quality checks by verifying that field activities are aligned with approved engineering documents and internal quality management systems.
- Follow HSE policies, procedures, and site instructions while promoting safe work practices and environmental awareness among project teams.
- Ensure field engineering support remains aligned with applicable codes, regulations, standards, and customer expectations.
- Coordinate technical information between office engineering teams and field teams to reduce delays and improve execution clarity.
- Maintain organized records of inspections, site comments, technical clarifications, progress updates, and follow‑up actions.
- Support collaborative problem solving during site activities by analyzing technical information and recommending practical next steps.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of relevant experience in the EPCI industry.
- Familiarity with field engineering procedures, construction coordination, engineering workflows, and project execution practices.
- Good understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, specifications, construction documents, and site requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant EPCI codes, industry standards, regulations, and project quality expectations.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar applications.
- Strong analytical ability with a practical approach to identifying site issues and supporting corrective actions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical information to different stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with cross‑functional teams, contractors, and project representatives.
- Safety‑focused mindset with awareness of HSE requirements in construction and installation activities.
