Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm is seeking a Spa Therapist to deliver a range of treatments and ensure an exceptional guest experience on the Palm Jumeirah. You will maintain therapy knowledge, tailor sessions to guest preferences, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in a luxury hotel setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in hotels, strong English communication, and a cordial, professional presence.

Qualifications

• Certified Spa Therapist with proven hospitality experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in the hotel industry.
• Good English communication skills.
• Pleasant personality and focused demeanor.
• Ability to handle pressure and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of spa treatments (massages, facials, scrubs, wraps) tailored to guest needs.
• Understand therapies and recommend appropriate treatments based on client preferences.
• Provide exceptional guest experiences with professionalism, warmth, and personalization.
• Follow up after treatments to ensure satisfaction and suggest products or services.
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after sessions; ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• Monitor spa supplies and equipment; report needs to the relevant team.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with wellness and operations teams for a seamless guest experience.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to align with hotel standards.
• Observe brand/operating standards and report issues to management.
• Follow workplace safety policies and report incidents to the manager immediately.
• Participate in CSR and Sustainability initiatives organized by the hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Perform a variety of treatments, including massages, facials, body scrubs, wraps, and other spa services tailored to guest needs.
• Maintain a deep understanding of various therapies and recommend appropriate treatments based on client preferences and concerns.

Guest Experience & Care

• Provide an exceptional guest experience, ensuring every interaction is professional, warm, and personalized.
• Follow up post-treatment to ensure guest satisfaction and provide product or service recommendations.

Operational Support

• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each session, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and readiness at all times.
• Monitor and maintain spa supplies and equipment, reporting needs to the relevant team.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the wellness and operations teams to create a seamless and elevated experience for guests.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and align with the hotel’s standards.
• Observe all brand/operating standards and/or LQA.
• Follow all workplace safety and security policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries and incidents to reporting manager immediately.
• Participate & contribute actively in all Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives organised by the Hotel.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Certified as Spa Therapist
• With 2-5 years of experience in the same field in hotel industry
• With good English communication skills
• With pleasing personality and a well focused individual
• Able to handle pressure at work and capability to multi-task
