Job summary

AlM Facilities Management in Dubai is seeking a Facility Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance, ensure proper operation of building services, and coordinate staff and contractors to keep facilities safe and functional.

Ideal candidate holds a Diploma or ITI in mechanical or electrical engineering, has UAE driving license, 3–5 years in FM/MEP, and can ensure compliance with Dubai regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in facility management, building maintenance or MEP operations.
• Experience in commercial buildings, residential towers, hotels or mixed-use properties preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence mandatory.

Job description

Position: Facility Supervisor

To supervise day-to-day facility maintenance activities ensure the proper functioning of building services coordinate maintenance staff and contractors and maintain buildings in a safe clean and operational condition in accordance with company standards and applicable UAE regulations.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Typically 3 5 years of experience in facility management building maintenance or MEP operations
• Experience in commercial buildings residential towers hotels or mixed-use properties is preferred
• Proven experience in supervising technicians and maintenance contractors
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory

Technical Knowledge and Skills

Good knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, district cooling services, AHUs, and FCUs.Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, generators, and emergency power systems.Knowledge of plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems.Familiarity with fire alarm and firefighting systems.Understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and preventive maintenance procedures.Experience with CAFM/CMMS software and maintenance reporting.Familiarity with applicable Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, and other relevant authority requirements.Knowledge of UAE health and safety practices and permit-to-work procedures.Good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good English communication and report-writing skills.Ability to plan maintenance activities, control costs, and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
