Job summary

Flip retail in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Maintenance Specialist responsible for scheduled repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and other mounted systems to ensure safe, cost-effective operation of the center.

You will oversee FM activities, coordinate with Purchasing and Legal for contracts, implement LEAN-based quality controls, and support projects to enhance facility performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facility maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with LEAN quality control principles is advantageous.
• Strong coordination and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FM organization and assist Facility Supervisor with budget quotes, cost monitoring, permits, and certificate requirements, and maintenance specialist selection.
• Coordinate contracts and contract changes with Purchasing, Sourcing and Legal departments.
• Execute LEAN-based quality control programs to improve facility efficiency.
• Participate in center projects supporting FM activities in operations, upkeep, property management, design, and construction.
• Plan and direct FM services including maintenance processes, repairs, custodial, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks across departments to maximize staff and equipment performance.
• Suggest methods and devices to reduce FM costs with new sources and better systems.
• Prepare contract scopes and center service arrangements for maintenance.
• Ensure consistent facility standards and site bookkeeping.
• Coordinate advocacy for applying standard center image.
• Support Shared Base Assistance activities in the center.
• Apply improvements identified in FM International or Facilities Scorecard Analysis.
