Job summary
VentureOne in United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Functional Lead to drive a Facility Management Digital Transformation, implementing Facilio with SAP integration. You will gather requirements, design processes, and deliver functional specifications across FM, Maintenance, Asset Management and SAP.
As the primary liaison between business and technology, you will run workshops, manage UAT, coordinate multiple vendors, and ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget for a 12-month FTC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, business or related field.
- 10+ years in Facility Management, CAFM/IWMS/CMMS, EAM, or digital transformation projects.
- Proven experience leading business analysis, process design, requirements management, and software implementation.
- Strong understanding of FM operations including Preventive & Reactive Maintenance, Work Orders, Asset Lifecycle, Service Management, and SLA/KPI monitoring.
- Strong SAP knowledge and experience with integration of SAP with external platforms.
- Experience managing stakeholder workshops, cross-functional project teams, and UAT processes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Experience using Jira, MS Project, Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence or similar tools.
- Ability to operate in a multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, coordination, governance reporting, and risk/issue management.
- Gather and document business requirements from FM, Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, HR, and other stakeholders.
- Define and optimize business processes for Asset Management, Maintenance, Work Orders, Service Requests, Helpdesk, Vendors, Inventory, and SLA/KPI management.
- Prepare BRDs, FRSs, process maps, user stories, use cases, and other functional documentation.
- Act as the primary liaison between client stakeholders, Facilio, SAP teams, integration teams, and project leadership.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend solutions leveraging Facilio, SAP, and related enterprise apps.
- Define integration requirements, data mappings, master data governance, and end-to-end processes across SAP and Facilio.
- Facilitate design workshops, solution reviews, and business decision-making sessions.
- Manage UAT, defect resolution, business sign-off, and deployment readiness activities.
- Support change management, training, adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Functional Lead will lead the business and functional workstream for a Facility Management Digital Transformation program involving the implementation of the Facilio platform and its integration with SAP enterprise systems. The role will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing processes, defining functional solutions, and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams. Acting as the key link between business and technology, the Functional lead will drive workshops, document requirements, manage project delivery, and oversee end-to-end business processes across Facility Management, Maintenance, Asset Management, and related SAP functions. The role will ensure that business needs are translated into clear functional specifications, integration requirements, and implementation plans. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Facility Management operations, SAP-enabled business processes, business analysis, and project delivery, with the ability to manage stakeholders, coordinate multiple vendors, and drive successful project outcomes within scope, budget, and timeline. This is a 12-month FTC.
