• Experience in business process mapping, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP PM, WCM, and Fleet Management solutions.
• Analyze complex business requirements and provide SAP solutions aligned with best practices.
• Gather, interpret, validate, and document business requirements.
• Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Map business processes and identify opportunities for optimization through SAP solutions.

Job Description: SAP PM Functional Consultant

Experience 8+ Years Role Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP PM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Work Clearance Management (WCM), and Fleet Management to support implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong business process knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end SAP PM implementations and support projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP PM, WCM, and Fleet Management solutions.
• Analyze complex business requirements and provide effective SAP solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Gather, interpret, validate, and document business requirements.
• Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Map business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization through SAP solutions.
• Configure, customize, test, and support SAP PM functionalities.
• Possess strong knowledge of:
  • o SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
  • o Work Clearance Management (WCM)
  • o Linear Asset Management (LAM)

• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend workarounds or enhancement solutions.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve functional issues and system defects.
• Coordinate and manage emergency transports and production support activities for critical issues.
• Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process documents, test scripts, test results, and training materials.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical/development teams.
• Support integration activities with related SAP modules and third‑party systems.
• Participate in UAT, cutover planning, go-live support, and hypercare activities.
• Provide end‑user training and knowledge transfer to support teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 8 years of SAP PM experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects and multiple support engagements.
• Strong hands‑on experience in:
  • o SAP PM
  • o SAP WCM
  • o SAP Fleet Management
  • o SAP Linear Asset Management (LAM)
  • o SAP Mobility Solutions
• Experience in business process mapping, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in preparing functional specifications and coordinating with ABAP/development teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience with SAP Multi Resource Scheduling (MRS).
• Experience in SAP IS-U (Utilities Industry).
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Asset Management.
• Experience in utility, power, water, oil & gas, or asset‑intensive industries.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to Asset Management.
