Job summary

GMG is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and oversee the efficient operation of our facilities within a food manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include supervising electricians, mechanics and refrigeration staff, developing maintenance schedules, diagnosing faults, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across LV electrical systems and automation equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, automation and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshooting control panels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance.
• Create and implement maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient maintenance planning.
• Supervise technicians, electricians, mechanics and refrigeration staff.
• Diagnose and fix faults promptly to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams and control schematics.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives and related systems.
• Ensure safe operation of LV electrical systems and panels.
• Enforce safety culture and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain records of work orders, inspections and repairs.
