Job summary

GMG Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on processing equipment, ensuring reliable operation and safety. You will participate in preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support production efficiency, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

The role requires 1–2 years in a frozen-food environment, basic electrical/mechanical skills, and strong documentation practices. On-site work with safety at the core.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in food processing equipment.
• Electrical/mechanical technical background.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance of equipment as per the schedule.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with daily maintenance tasks and breakdowns.
• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance schedules, inspect equipment for wear.
• Compliance with HACCP/GMP standards.
• Document maintenance activities, manage tools and spare parts inventory, and safety.
• Perform other assignments as required by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Collaborate with production staff to improve machine performance and safety.
