Job summary

ASHOK LEYLAND (UAE) LLC in Ras Al Khaimah seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across a large-scale production facility. You will drive equipment reliability and ensure continuous plant operations.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance activities with production, managing budgets, optimizing spares, enforcing HSE and LOTO, and mentoring a maintenance team to boost uptime and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidate has proven experience in managerial roles within Manufacturing, Automobile, or high-volume production environments.
• Strong expertise in plant maintenance, equipment reliability, team leadership, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure high equipment uptime, reliability, and smooth plant operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and drive improvements to minimize breakdowns.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with production teams.
• Manage plant assets, equipment lifecycle, and maintenance documentation.
• Recommend equipment upgrades, modifications, and replacements as required.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, statutory, and company safety standards.
• Implement LOTO procedures and safe maintenance practices.
• Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Oversee maintenance of utilities including electrical systems, compressors, HVAC, water treatment, DG sets, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure continuous availability of utilities to support production.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets while controlling costs.
• Optimize spare parts inventory and monitor vendor performance and service contracts.
