Job summary

Dubai Foundation for Women and Children in Abu Dhabi seeks a Maintenance Manager to supervise building upkeep, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and ensure safety compliance. You will plan preventive maintenance, manage contractors, and prepare technical reports while coordinating with departments to avoid service disruption and protect residents' privacy.

The role requires a engineering degree with 3–5 years of practical experience in facilities management and a strong focus on safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in building maintenance and facilities management.
• Good knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, preventive maintenance, and contractor management.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards, fire safety requirements, and local regulations.
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports and using maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance for buildings, facilities and equipment including HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing works.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans to extend asset lifespan and reduce costs.
• Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure quality and contract compliance.
• Monitor safety facilities and coordinate with authorities for compliance.
• Prepare technical reports on facility conditions and future requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to avoid service disruption and protect beneficiary privacy.
• Manage costs and materials, track inventories and optimize expenditure.
