Job summary

Q-Express Documents Transport in the UAE seeks a Facilities Coordinator to lead the maintenance team at the Fulfillment Center, manage external contractors, respond to emergencies, and drive preventive maintenance for high equipment availability.

You will develop plans to meet engineering goals, coach staff, and coordinate local and AMET projects while upholding safety policies and customer-focused operations.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, controls)
• In-depth understanding of facility maintenance and facility management systems
• Bachelor's degree or engineering diploma in relevant fields

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor the team, ensuring safe, standard and efficient work
• Collaborate with network to harness expertise and build solutions
• Maintain Asset Performance Management (APM) metrics and improve KPIs
• Support Safety and Reliability Engineering in safety/compliance programs
• Implement network standards and preventative maintenance to improve equipment availability
• Organize training to ensure adequate technical coverage for shifts
• Coordinate local projects or AMET-level projects as assigned
• Demonstrate supervisory engineering experience
• Experience with automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyors
• Adhere to health & safety standards and regulations
• Develop and implement AMCs with appropriate service levels
• Manage Maintenance Supervisors & Technicians; plan and train staff
• Enforce safe working environment and Amazon Safety Policy
