Position Overview:
Responsible for developing architectural façade lighting concepts, technical designs, fixture selection, control systems, and DMX-based dynamic lighting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural façade lighting concepts and lighting schemes.
- Design fixture locations, mounting positions, lighting zones, and control areas.
- Select appropriate fixtures based on beam angle, lumen output, CCT, RGB/RGBW, IP rating, optics, and environmental conditions.
- Develop dynamic lighting effects and DMX-controlled scenes.
- Design lighting-control architecture using DMX, Art-Net, sACN, DALI, and related protocols.
- Prepare lighting layouts, fixture schedules, control diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Work with Traxon and other major architectural lighting manufacturers to select compatible fixtures and control solutions.
- Understand manufacturer-specific systems, controllers, decoders, gateways, and programming requirements.
- Coordinate lighting designs with electrical, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Support DMX addressing, programming, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct site inspections and adapt designs to actual site conditions.
- Support engineers and programmers during installation and commissioning.
- Ensure the installed system achieves the intended visual effect, technical performance, and control functionality.
- Required Knowledge:Strong understanding of Traxon and other architectural lighting systems, DMX512, Art-Net, sACN, DALI, RGB/RGBW technology, lighting control, fixture specifications, and architectural lighting design.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor of Engineering/Technology - Electrical
Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in the relevant field.
