Job summary

Jazal Engineering & Contracting LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated technician to install, wire, test, commission, and maintain façade lighting and DMX-controlled systems on active projects. You will work with LED/rgbw fixtures, control gear, and data cables, follow drawings and safety standards, and support site inspections and handover.

2+ years of relevant education and hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in façade lighting or related field.
• Experience with DMX-controlled lighting systems and basic configuration.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect façade lighting fixtures, LED, RGB/RGBW, controllers, decoders, and cables.
• Perform DMX addressing, signal testing, and commissioning support.
• Troubleshoot lighting, power, and DMX issues; attend emergency callouts.
• Assist project engineers with testing, calibration, and system commissioning.
• Follow safety procedures and support site inspections and final handover.

Position Overview:Responsible for the installation, wiring, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of façade lighting and DMX-controlled systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and connect façade lighting fixtures, LED, RGB/RGBW, linear lights, controllers, decoders, power supplies, and DMX/data cables.
• PerformDMX addressing, signal testing, basic configuration, and commissioning support.
• Troubleshoot lighting, power, communication, and DMX issues.
• Work withTraxon and other international lighting manufacturers/systems.
• Assist Project Engineers with testing, programming, calibration, and system commissioning.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Attendemergency calloutsand support rapid restoration of lighting systems.
• Replace faulty fixtures, cables, connectors, power supplies, and other components.
• Follow technical drawings, safety procedures, and installation standards.
• Support site inspections, snagging, and final handover.
