Job summary

JAZAL ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING LLC is seeking an experienced Lighting Design Engineer to develop architectural facade lighting concepts, select fixtures, and design DMX-based control systems. You will prepare layouts, schedules, and control diagrams, coordinating with electrical and MEP drawings.

Responsibilities include DMX addressing, programming support, commissioning, and site inspections to ensure the system achieves the intended visual effect and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology – Electrical.
• 5–10 years of experience in architectural lighting or related field.
• Strong understanding of Traxon and similar architectural lighting systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural facade lighting concepts and lighting schemes.
• Design fixture locations, mounting positions, zones and control areas.
• Select fixtures based on beam angle, lumen output, CCT, RGB/RGBW, IP rating and environment.
• Develop dynamic lighting effects and DMX-controlled scenes.
• Design lighting-control architecture using DMX, Art-Net, sACN, DALI.
• Prepare lighting layouts, fixture schedules, control diagrams and specs.
• Coordinate lighting designs with electrical and MEP drawings.
• Support DMX addressing, programming, commissioning, calibration and troubleshooting.
