Job summary

White Aluminium Enterprises LLC – Fabrication Division in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Façade QC Engineer to join our Production team. The role focuses on inspecting aluminium, glazing, cladding, and related systems to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and quality standards.

You will conduct inspections, manage NCRs/CAPAs, verify dimensions, and support audits and client inspections while coordinating with production and design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in façade production or quality control.
• Familiarity with QC tools, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
• Knowledge of façade systems (curtain wall, aluminium, glazing, cladding).

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of façade materials and components.
• Ensure production activities comply with approved shop drawings, specifications, and ITP.
• Monitor fabrication of aluminium frames, curtain wall systems, cladding panels, and glazing works.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with production, design, and site teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and assembly of façade elements.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of materials to avoid damage.
• Prepare and maintain QC reports, inspection records, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ASTM, BS, EN, and project specifications).
• Witness and verify testing of façade systems where required (e.g., water tightness, air infiltration).
• Monitor calibration of inspection and measuring equipment.
• Support internal and external audits and client inspections.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all façade components (aluminium, glazing, cladding, and related systems) are manufactured in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role focuses on monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control measures to ensure compliance and minimize defects.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and required Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Quality Control or ISO 9001 is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems (curtain wall, aluminium, glazing, cladding).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with QC tools, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in façade production or quality control.
• Experience in aluminium fabrication or façade manufacturing is highly preferred.
