Job summary

Dutco Group is seeking a Facade Engineer to design, coordinate, and deliver façade systems for infrastructure projects in the UAE. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure practical, safe, and code-compliant solutions that meet environmental and project requirements.

The role requires handling drawings, technical submissions, and coordination with contractors and suppliers. Experience with coastal or marine environments and BIM/CAD tools is preferred. UAE-based applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Architectural/Structural Engineering.
Experience in façade engineering or building-envelope design for infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with façade systems, materials, and installation methods.
Knowledge of coastal/marine environmental considerations.
Ability to read multidisciplinary drawings and prepare technical submissions.
Proficiency in design/documentation software; BIM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and coordinate façade and building-envelope systems for infrastructure facilities.
Review drawings to identify interfaces and conflicts.
Prepare façade layouts, details, specs, calculations, and material schedules.
Coordinate façade requirements with multiple teams (roads, marine, MEP, architecture).
Assess durability, weather/corrosion resistance for coastal environments.
Review submittals, samples, method statements, and test plans.
Support tendering and procurement with technical documentation.
Monitor façade installation, site inspections, and quality.
Ensure compliance with project specs, codes, safety and quality procedures.
Track design changes and close out outstanding issues.
Contribute to design reviews, value engineering, and project handover.
