Job summary

Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to support our Food & Beverage operations. You will promote guest satisfaction, supervise service during meal periods, and help maintain high standards for Restaurant and Room Service.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure guest satisfaction through developing and maintaining a strong team environment with emphasis on Team Member satisfaction and prompt, courteous service.
• Prompt and courteous delivery of all orders, maintaining a positive image through guest contact and cleanliness of guest areas.
• Assure total guest satisfaction in food and beverage service via supervision of Restaurant and Room Service orders.
• During shift, assist with serving, seating, kitchen communication, and addressing guests.
• Maintain a highly motivated and well-trained staff.
• Open and close shift per Manager’s Checklist.
• Train, maintain and enforce Minor Hotels service standards.
• Execute revenue and check control procedures on shift.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all Team Members and guests.
• Gather and implement tools for running shifts (schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks).
• Resolve issues like call outs and last minute bookings daily.
• Be on the floor during meals to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure that only quality products are served.
• Maintain proper Team Member uniform standards.
• Manage repair and maintenance program via work orders and inspections.
• Rotate stations fairly and manage Team Member relations (scheduling, time adjustments).
• Assist Team Members to improve performance and participate in training programs.
• Encourage problem solving through training and empowerment to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with Team Members to build trust and ensure fair treatment.
