Job summary

Anantara is seeking an experienced hospitality professional in Dubai to lead Food & Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and teamwork. You will manage shifts, uphold service standards, and coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver prompt, courteous service during all meal periods.

The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and dedication to maintaining a superb guest experience in a luxury hotel setting in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operation.
• Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Excellent English skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote guest satisfaction by developing a strong team environment and delivering prompt, courteous service.
• Ensure prompt and courteous delivery of all orders and maintain cleanliness of guest areas.
• Supervise service of food and beverages to assure total guest satisfaction.
• Be on the floor during meals to engage guests and assist with seating and kitchen communication.
• Assist in maintaining a motivated, well-trained staff.
• Open and close shifts according to Managers Checklist.
• Train, maintain and enforce Anantara Service Standards.
• Execute revenue and check control procedures on shift.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all Team Members and guests.
• Gather and implement proper tools for running shifts (schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks).
• Handle daily problems such as callouts, last-minute bookings, or other issues.
• Be on the floor during entire meal period and ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure that only a quality product is being served.
• Maintain proper Team Member uniform standards.
• Manage an effective repair and maintenance program using work orders, inspections, etc.
• Encourage problem-solving by Team Members through proper training and empowerment to ensure guest satisfaction.
