Job summary

Accor Group in Dubai is seeking a Food and Beverage Server to provide attentive restaurant service from guest arrival to departure. The role covers order taking, menu guidance, beverage and food service, POS transactions, and outlet closing procedures while maintaining hygiene and service standards.

The candidate will welcome guests, guide dining experiences, and ensure accurate orders, payments, and smooth service. Knowledge of Emirates hospitality norms and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficient with Micros POS system.
• Good knowledge of restaurant products and items.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and present the menu, explain specials and changes.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and note special requests.
• Record orders in the POS and ensure correct preparation.
• Deliver items, clear tables, replenish utensils, and upsell desserts/beverages.
• Open and pour wine at the table and guide guests through the dining experience.
• Handle payments, issue receipts, and reconcile cash/EDC at shift end.
• Support outlet tasks and assist colleagues as needed.
• Follow HACCP and hygiene standards; maintain grooming and appearance.
• Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to meet service standards.
