Job summary

Accorhotel Dubai seeks a Food & Beverage Captain who will be an ambassador for our service and cuisine, delivering professional, guest‑focused hospitality to make every stay memorable. You will also assist the Outlet Manager to run the outlet smoothly.

You will supervise waiters and busboys, deepen knowledge of the menu, handle guest queries, ensure the outlet is set up for service, and lead the service team to standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the activities of the Waiters and Busboys in assigned area.
• Acquire in depth knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu of the assigned Outlet to assist Guests.
• Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints and queries satisfactorily.
• Ensure the Outlet is set-up for service and supervise for a smooth operation.
• Direct and supervise the service team to ensure that all duties are performed as per standards.
• Ensure that all Employees have received adequate training to perform their duties.
• Maintain concise record of all beverage stock to ensure availability.
• Coordinate with the Headwaiter or Outlet Manager to plan and conduct skills training.
• Performs other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.

What you will be doing

Supervises the activities of the Waiters and Busboys in assigned area Perform all necessary tasks to service Food amp Beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the Hotel Acquire in depth knowledge of the Food amp Beverage menu of the assigned Outlet in order to assist and provide advice to Guests Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints and queries satisfactorily Ensure the Outlet is set-up for service and supervise for a smooth operation Direct and supervise the service team to ensure that all duties are performed as per standards Ensure that all Employees have received adequate training to perform their duties Ensure proper organization planning and control of supplies and maintain concise record of all beverage stock in order to ensure that the required is available Checks the mise en place prior and after the operation Coordinates with the Headwaiter or Outlet Manager to plan and conduct skills training constantly Performs other duties assigned by his her supervisor

Company Description

Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferredExcellence in strategic leadership and team managementCreative and passionate about food and customer serviceAble to work in a high-pressure environment
