Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an External Communications Manager to shape the public image across media, events and channels. You will drive external messaging, stories, and proactive outreach to press, exhibitions and social media.

This role focuses on safeguarding the brand, coordinating with senior leadership and group communications, and delivering high-impact campaigns at national and international levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in external communications, media relations, or corporate communications within a large organization.
• Experience in energy, industrial, or government-related sectors is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execution of the external communications strategy to achieve business and brand objectives.
• Ensure consistent external messaging across media, events, and communication channels.
• Identify and develop compelling company stories and pitches for press releases, social media, exhibitions, and events.
• Monitor external media coverage and flag risks, recommending improvements.
• Organize media events, press conferences, forums, and exhibitions with ADNOC Group companies.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with media and external stakeholders.
• Support executive speaking engagements at conferences and exhibitions.
• Maintain emergency communication response plans and participate in drills.
