Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking an Inventory/Stores professional to manage daily store operations, monitor stock, and ensure timely material availability.

The role requires hands-on ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics), stock audits, and coordination with procurement, production, and logistics teams.

You will prepare reports and maintain accurate records while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in stores, inventory, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with receipt, stock management, audits and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations including receipt, storage, issuance, and transfer of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability to support operations.
• Process and maintain records of inward/outward material movements.
• Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and audits.
• Update inventory transactions in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Logistics to ensure timely material availability.
• Prepare inventory reports and MIS reports.
• Identify and investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping; comply with safety and audits.

Job description

• Manage daily store operations including receipt, storage, issuance, and transfer of materials.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of materials to support operational requirements.

• Process and maintain accurate records of all inward and outward material movements.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification, cycle counts, and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.

• Update inventory transactions and maintain records in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent software.

• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and dispatch.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports, stock reconciliation reports, and MIS reports.

• Identify and investigate stock discrepancies, shortages, and excess inventory, and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping standards are maintained within the warehouse/store area.

• Comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and support internal and external inventory audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Stores, Inventory, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Furniture, or Supply Chain Operations.

• Experience in material receipt, stock management, inventory audits, and warehouse operations.
• Hands-on experience with any ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar platforms.
