Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai invites an experienced culinary leader to oversee menu development and kitchen operations for a luxury resort. You will manage chefs, cooks, and assistants, ensuring top-tier quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction across diverse dining concepts.

The role requires 8–10 years of international five-star hotel/restaurant experience, a catering/hospitality degree, and a commitment to exceptional service in a premium environment.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative and diverse menus reflecting trends, dietary preferences, and the restaurant concept.

• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, assign tasks, train, and ensure smooth service operations.
• Manage food inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and minimize waste through inventory control.
• Monitor food costs, analyse variances, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation standards, and hygiene practices.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency, freshness, and adherence to established recipes and standards.
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring smooth operations during service.
• Manage food inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and minimize waste by implementing effective inventory control measures.
• Monitor food costs, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree in Catering, Hospitality, or any other relevant field.
• 8 - 10 years of international experience in a five-star hotel and restaurants.
