Job summary

eMarkables is seeking an Executive Operations Director for Supermarkets & Hypermarkets in the UAE. The role leads large-scale retail and F&B operations, aligning store networks with corporate strategy to drive profitability and customer excellence.

Based onsite in Dubai, you will oversee 1,000+ staff, manage complex P&L, and drive cost optimization, while guiding strategic initiatives across supply chain, kitchen operations, and digital retail enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management, or a related field.
• MBA from a reputable institution is highly preferred.
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Advanced Retail Management.
• Deep understanding of the UAE Retail and FMCG landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operations of a portfolio of hypermarkets and supermarkets across the UAE.
• Drive the financial performance by managing P&L and budgets.
• Oversee F&B, catering, and central kitchen operations in-store.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow basket value and market share.
• Implement lean processes to minimize shrinkage and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a large management team across multiple locations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, HACCP, and labor laws.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, and HR.
• Champion digital transformation and retail technology integration.
• Monitor market trends to identify store-format and service improvements.
