Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a Kitchen Leader to be accountable for the daily kitchen operations, demonstrating culinary talent while guiding staff and managing all food-related functions. You will ensure sanitation and food standards, supervise all kitchen areas, and drive guest and employee satisfaction along with financial performance.

Responsibilities include leading cooks, setting standards, coordinating with banquets, room service, and outlets, and developing staff for optimal performance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years in culinary/food & beverage or related area.
• 2-year culinary/ hotel/restaurant degree with 4 years in culinary/food & beverage or related area.

Responsibilities

• Leads kitchen management team and day-to-day operations.
• Sets performance standards and provides direction to staff.
• Monitors food quality, safety and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
• Oversees purchasing, receiving and storage; manages food costs and supplies.
• Provides staff development and coaching to ensure excellent plate presentations.
