Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled culinary professional to prepare meals, regulate oven temperatures, and ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes. You will follow recipes, maintain sanitation, and contribute to a premium guest dining experience.

As a member of our culinary team, you will train junior staff, keep accurate food logs, and collaborate with chefs on daily specials while upholding Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards in every guest interaction.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary education or relevant experience.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations preferred.
• Ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards in food handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator.
• Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality/quantity of prepared items.
• Communicate needs during busy periods and support kitchen team.
• Inform Chef of excess items for daily specials and menu updates.
• Ensure the quality of all food items and adherence to recipes and standards.
• Work with staff to deliver Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards in guest service.
