Job summary

Arada is seeking an Interior Design Director to lead the interior design function across residential, branded residential, hospitality, retail, workplace, and mixed-use developments. You will own the design brief, standards and quality benchmarks, directing consultants and operators from concept to handover, balancing design excellence with programme, budget and brand standards.

Reporting into Design and Development leadership, you will drive design reviews, risk management, and governance,

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ professional experience in interior design.
• Minimum 5 years in developer/client-side design management.
• Minimum 8 years in a senior design leadership role.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the interior design vision and standards across the portfolio.
• Lead design processes across multiple projects and stages.
• Manage consultants, specialists, operators and stakeholders.
• Review submissions for quality, cost and alignment with the brief.
• Lead design reviews and value engineering.
• Maintain design governance and risk registers.
