Job summary

Arada is seeking a Design Manager – Architecture to lead the architectural design lifecycle from concept through IFC and construction support. You will manage international and local consultants, maintain design vision, and ensure alignment with quality benchmarks, cost, and schedule across projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master's degree preferred).
• Membership of a recognised professional architectural body such as RIBA, AIA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience leading design in large-scale Middle East projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead full architectural design lifecycle from concept through tender and IFC, coordinating with international and local consultants.
• Act as design custodian ensuring the original design vision, brand, and quality benchmarks are maintained.
• Oversee consultants' design activities, monitoring progress, deliverables and compliance at all stages.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, manage design consultants, contract administration and variations.
• Monitor design to align with budgets, master programme and investment case.
• Review documentation for quality, coordination, and constructability; drive value engineering and compliance.
