Job summary
NYU Abu Dhabi seeks an accomplished commercial leader to drive the next phase of executive education growth for Stern at NYU Abu Dhabi. Based in Abu Dhabi, the Assistant Director will leverage NYU's global network to build regional client relationships and convert opportunities into sustainable partnerships.
The role involves shaping propositions, leading bids, negotiating terms, and coordinating with NYUAD, Stern, and NYU's global teams to deliver differentiated executive education solutions
Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience in business development, strategic partnerships or a similar commercial role.
- Experience in originating and securing high-value B2B opportunities, preferably with government entities or major corporations.
- Experience leading complex proposals and bids, including multi-million-dollar opportunities.
- Strong commercial judgment in pricing, negotiation, contracting and partnerships.
- Ability to translate academic or research expertise into clear client propositions.
- Established credibility with senior government and corporate stakeholders in UAE/GCC.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop strategic opportunities across government, corporate, and institutional sectors.
- Build senior relationships and secure high-value, multi-year partnerships.
- Lead complex bids and proposals, including multi-million-dollar opportunities.
- Shape propositions by translating faculty expertise into differentiated commercial solutions.
- Structure partnerships (MSAs, MOUs, pricing, terms) with Finance and Legal.
- Leverage NYU networks across NYUAD, Stern and NYU global to strengthen regional offerings.
