Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank’s Global Markets division seeks an experienced professional to lead and manage Structed Trading & Solutions activities in the UAE. You will oversee structuring and execution of transactions, conduct risk and return analysis, and support junior traders to maximise profitability while minimising risk.

The role requires deep product knowledge and regulatory awareness. You will collaborate with quant and risk teams, develop new products, and provide market commentary and pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years in markets, structuring and trading.
• Strong understanding of Structed Trading & Solutions and global markets products.
• Excellent risk management techniques and market-making skills.
• Familiarity with regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in VBA/Macro development and Excel.
• Experience with Murex and Bloomberg terminal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the business strategy and manage customer flow to meet budget.
• Lead structuring and execution of transactions; assess risk and return.
• Develop pricing, models and risk mitigations for new products.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with Sales to grow client franchise.
• Work with risk teams to adapt mandates and ensure compliance.
• Expand product offerings and improve reporting reliability.
