First Abu Dhabi Bank seeks an experienced Executive Director for its Privileged Clients Group in Abu Dhabi. You will lead corporate and investment banking initiatives, drive strategic growth, and oversee sophisticated transactions while nurturing relationships with high-profile clients.

The role requires 15+ years in corporate & investment banking, with senior leadership experience; MBA/CFA preferred and English fluency with Arabic desirable.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in corporate and investment banking with senior leadership roles.
• MBA or CFA certification preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow corporate & investment banking in the UAE and MENAE.
• Motivate a team of senior bankers ensuring high performance and development.
• Oversee complex financial transactions including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and structured finance deals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients including corporations, government entities, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Collaborate with other units to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize revenue.
• Ensure compliance with local and international banking regulations and internal risk policies.
• Represent the bank at high-level industry events and forums.
• Advise the board on market trends, opportunities, and challenges in corporate & investment banking.
