Job summary

Sundus is seeking an Executive Director – Logistics to lead and scale its logistics business in Dubai. You will shape strategy, drive revenue and lead a large multicultural team across functions including operations, commercial and technology.

The role requires deep logistics expertise, strong P&L leadership and a proven track record building partnerships, expanding markets and delivering growth in a dynamic transformation environment. Fluent English is essential, Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or related industries.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role with significant P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record of building, transforming or scaling a logistics business.
• Strong commercial background with experience in business development, customer acquisition and strategic partnerships.
• Broad knowledge of freight and logistics operations across multiple modes and markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business strategy and growth plan for the logistics business.
• Lead commercial development across key markets, customers and industry sectors.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with customers, logistics partners, carriers and other key stakeholders.
• Drive revenue, profitability, customer growth and overall P&L performance.
• Develop and optimize logistics products and solutions across relevant modes and services.
• Establish efficient operational processes, service standards and performance KPIs.
• Identify new market, customer and partnership opportunities to accelerate growth.
• Lead the development of a high-performing organization, including recruitment, capability building and succession planning.
• Ensure strong governance across compliance, risk, quality, safety and operational performance.

Requirements:

• 15 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or a related industry.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role with significant commercial and P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record of building, transforming or scaling a logistics business.
• Strong commercial background with experience in business development, customer acquisition and strategic partnerships.

• Fluent English required; Arabic is an advantage.
