The role requires at least 5 years as an Executive Chef, strong leadership, and excellent English communication. A bachelor’s in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management is preferred, and a biometric passport is a plus.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee our Nepali cuisine restaurant in Sharjah. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and authentic Nepali dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative menus featuring authentic Nepali dishes while ensuring quality and consistency
• Train and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and service
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain food cost control
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
• Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions featuring Nepali cuisine
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality ingredients are always available
• Stay updated on current food trends in the industry and incorporate them into menu development

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
• Extensive knowledge of Nepali cuisine with the ability to create new dishes while maintaining authenticity
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
• Excellent communication skills in English ( Nepali language skills are a plus)

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ along with accommodation.

Location

This position is based in Sharjah. Candidates who are currently residing in Sharjah or willing to relocate will be given preference.
