Job summary

RedLine Freight Services in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen operations, craft creative menus, and ensure top quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, menu planning, and cost control to deliver a high-volume dining experience while maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction. Accommodation is provided, with a contract for foreigners and visa support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
• Culinary degree or equivalent training/certification preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team effectively.
• Knowledge of different cuisines/styles of cooking.
• Proficiency in creating menus that balance creativity with profitability.
• Ability to manage food costs while maintaining high quality standards.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Understanding of health codes/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Develop and maintain menus that align with our restaurant's concept and brand.
• Train and manage kitchen staff, delegating tasks as needed to ensure efficiency.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new ingredients, techniques, etc.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns related to food quality or service.
