Job summary

Workato in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead creative menus, oversee kitchen operations, and deliver high-quality culinary experiences across events and daily service.

You will manage kitchen staff, ensure safety and quality standards, develop recipes, and work closely with front-of-house to meet guest expectations. The role requires at least 5 years in professional kitchens and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a professional kitchen is required.
• Extensive knowledge of international cuisine is preferred.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen staff in the preparation of creative menus for various events throughout the year.
• Oversee daily operations in the kitchen including food preparation, safety protocols, ordering supplies and ensuring quality standards are met at all times.
• Manage staff training and development programs as well as performance evaluations when necessary.
• Develop new recipes as well as update existing ones on a regular basis to ensure variety on menus offered by the restaurant or catering service that you manage.
• Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction with their dining experience by providing timely service according to established standards.
