Job summary

Hyatt Regency Portland Convention Center in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead the Italian Outlet in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards.

You will manage the kitchen as an independent profit centre, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining quality, and operating within budget to support the outlet's financial success.

The role requires at least 2 years in a similar leadership kitchen position, with luxury brand experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant of good standard.
• Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
• Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
